Version 1 — published August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Merit Refined, operated by Cameron Justice, collects, uses, and protects your information.
Account information (name, email, phone); health and fitness information you provide, including PAR-Q health-screening answers, injuries, and training history; body measurements, bodyweight, and progress photos you choose to upload; nutrition logs, including any food photos you submit for macro estimation; workout videos you submit for AI-assisted form feedback; messages you send through the platform; payment information, which is processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store your full card details; and device, login, and usage information (such as IP address and browser type) for account security.
We use this information to deliver the coaching service — building your programs, tracking your progress, powering AI-assisted features (progression suggestions, program generation, food-photo estimation, form-check feedback), processing payments, and communicating with you about your account.
Certain features send relevant data (such as a food photo, a workout video, or your training history) to a third-party AI service provider in order to generate a response. We use these providers under their standard business/API terms; we do not use your data to train our own AI models. If our use of a specific AI vendor changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we will update this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers necessary to run the platform — our payment processor (Stripe), our cloud hosting and storage providers, and the AI service providers described above — each under their own confidentiality and data-use terms.
Health data, body photos, and workout video are sensitive categories of information. We collect them only where necessary to deliver the Service (health screening for safety, photos/video for progress tracking and form feedback) and only with your participation being voluntary for optional features like photo uploads.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting your coach.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Service. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will require your re-acknowledgment before you can continue using the Service.
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be directed to your coach through the Service.
