These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Merit Refined platform, operated by Cameron Justice doing business as Merit Refined ("we," "us"), based in Nevada. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
Merit Refined provides personal-training coaching services delivered primarily online: individualized training programs, a workout logbook, nutrition tracking and target-setting, progress tracking, direct messaging with your coach, and AI-assisted features (progression suggestions, AI-generated programs, food-photo macro estimation, and exercise-form video feedback). Some clients may also receive in-person sessions as arranged directly with Trainer.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Paid tiers bill on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details on how to cancel and our refund terms.
Certain features are powered by third-party AI services. Outputs from these features (training programs, progression suggestions, food identification, form-check feedback) are provided as fitness guidance and may contain errors — they are not a substitute for professional medical, dietetic, or fitness advice, and you should use your own judgment before relying on them. See the Informed Consent document for more detail.
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access another user's account, uploading unlawful content, or interfering with the Service's operation.
Training programs, content, and materials provided through the Service are the property of Merit Refined and are licensed to you for personal use only. You may not redistribute or resell them.
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any specific fitness outcome, and we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nevada law, Merit Refined and Cameron Justice will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will require your re-acknowledgment before you can continue using the Service.
